Abseil Maletsunyane Falls: A Guinness World Records feat

You can conquer the world’s longest single-drop commercial abseil with Semonkong Lodge in Lesotho. This Guinness World Records abseil is the ultimate outdoor adventure that showcases Lesotho’s undeniable beauty and nature’s indomitable power. More than 7 000 people have already abseiled 204 metres down the vertical cliff alongside Maletsunyane Falls, rappelling themselves into the whirling mist that rises from the gorge below. And they have the certificate to prove it!

If you’re new to abseiling/rappelling, no problem, as no experience is needed. Our experienced team will show you the ropes – quite literally. The day before your waterfall abseil, we’ll do a training session down a 25-metre cliff near Semonkong Lodge. While it’s much smaller in scale, the principles remain the same. This abseiling training is included in the cost so that you can soar with confidence and rest assured that your safety is always our number one priority.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to abseil down a waterfall, Lesotho awaits!
